A Report on
Round Table on problems and prospects
of Kerala's Development

___________________________________

A Round Table meeting was organised by BRF-ML on February 12, 2004, at Hotel Fortune, Calicut, with eminent managers and leaders from various public and private sector organisations.

The Round Table meeting urged the State Government to enact more entrepreneurial friendly labour laws to ensure large scale industrial growth in the State. It also urged the Government to keep itself away from the fields of commerce and business to allow private entrepreneurs to utilise maximum potentials in the State. The meeting also urged the Educational Department to inculcate vocational training in the school level curriculum to develop a better work force.

BRFML also informed that the Dialogue Group of BRFML will conduct discussions with various strata of society with regard to industrial development. The meeting was presided by Swami Bodhananda, and co-ordinated by Prof PR Bhatt.
